Automatic Pool Cover Lubricant

Looking for feedback on what type or brand of lubricant works best for our automatic pool cover tracks.

Silicone spray. Use the tiny spray tube so the lube goes in the track.

Pool Cover Specialists manual for the Infinity 4000 cover says just spray out with water.

Hmm, perhaps I was mis-remembering. I rummaged through my pile o' manuals, and found this, which recommends lubing the pulleys with silicone spray.
