Its making a weird hissing sound. Is this normal? This is the first time it made a sound loud enough where I can hear it. I recorded a video on my phone and like to post it on here but I can't figure out how

What brand/model water leveler do you have? Sounds like the float valve is stuck open a bit.

Hi, mine makes a hissing sound when the water level is just barely below where I have it set. The valve opens just a little bit and the water hisses as it flows through the small opening. While it's hissing, push down on the float to open the valve more and I'd guess the increased flow of water will eliminate the hissing.
