Been lurking here for a few weeks looking up random questions I had about pools and have to say this place is a great resource.

Below are size and specifications on our proposed new build, looking for any feedback on equipment, ect.;

Pool Size/Specs;
326 SF, 84' Perimeter approx 13.5' x 26' & 10,224 gal with 6x6 spa same depth as main pool.

Equipment/Piping;
Returns: (4) flush mount inlets
Skimmers: (2) aquastar, indi plumbed
drains: (2) 10" SDX
Spa: 3" suction, 2.5" return
Spa Jets: (6) Standard
Spa Air: 1.5" dedicated line
Spa Drain: Paramount 360 Superflo
Pump: Pentair IntelliFlo 2 VST
Filter: Pentair Clean & Clear 420 Cartridge
Heater: Pentair MasterTemp 400k
Air: Blower - Jandy 1.5HP
Controls: Pentair EastTouch PS-4
Sani: In-Line Chlor
Finish: Pebble Sheen - White

We're currently researching an alternate finish by going with Finest Finish Micro Fusion in lieu of the Pebble Sheen due to the smoother finish, anyone with experience using this product?

We'll be going the robotic clearer route. The PB is suggesting a Polaris, and I need to do my diligence on researching their models but have liked what people have been saying about the S200 (other than it's availability). The pool is situated between 6-8 Live Oak trees, so spring leaf fall is a concern with cleanup.

Looking forward to spending more time on here.

Cheers!

R,

The only thing that stands out to me is your In-Line Tab dispenser..

If you have hung out here for more than five minutes you already know what we think of them..

I suggest that you buy the EasyTouch with built-in Saltwater pool system.. The easiest way to maintain chlorine in your new pool.

You can thank me later.. :)

Ordered my s200 today from Marina Pool & Spa in Colorado, paid $699, no taxes and free shipping. I spoke with Margaret and her customer service was awesome!! I did quite a bit of research and this was the cheapest I could find it anywhere.

Jim - Thanks for your feedback and comments. I asked the PB about the Saltwater system and his response was that becuase of our Limestone Coping they don't recommend it for corrosive or expansion reasons. Is this valid?

Ask Margaret at Marina for the TFP basket modification if you get the S200. She'll know what you mean. It swaps out the rough filters for a rough filter insert to allow for two level filtration at one time.

Your design is a fantastic match for your lot and house!

Also I don't recommend going with the round main drains. Get this instead, looks better and will guarantee your robot won't get stuck on it. Channel Pebble Top Drain Covers — Color Match Pool Fittings

And if you are having concrete decking, get the Pour a lid skimmer cover for a clean look. Stetson Development | Pour a lid, innovative way to eliminate the standard deck lids and covers.
