Good day,
Our pool builder has just installed the pool in our backyard. I've inspected it and believe there are issues, such as bent walls, and I need a second opinion.
I'm worried that the bend might expand and worsen over time. What do you think? Is there really a bend, or am I just being a perfectionist?
The builder stated that the bend is within specifications and there is nothing to worry about, and it can be hidden with stones; that is, after the coping is installed, the bend won't be visible.
"Derek spent a lot of time doing his best to get it as straight as possible but unfortunately there is a lot of flex in these pool walls. We have it within allowed specs. When you install your coping in a straight line it will cover the imperfection. This obviously is not ideal but it is the situation."
