As indicated above in red, you need to wait for at least 10 seconds or wait until you hear the relay click before pushing the diagnostic button to prevent this error.

For the issue with the display board, the use of an electronic contact cleaner as suggested previously in this thread, is ideal.
Fyi, only the top side of the 7-pin header on the mainboard is making contact with the display bd. Make sure the connector on the disp bd is not corroded.
I had a similar issue and a few runs of fine-grit sandpaper on the top side of the header as shown below worked for me.

Thanks so much. I was wondering about waiting for the click. I can do the test again and send results and will also look for corrosion.

ok. So I sanded and that didn't seem to help but I can do a little more. I did notice two other things. 1. When the system comes on and the display has to power the board is not getting hot. I let it run for 10 minutes and the current limiter was not hot. 2. It wants me to reseat the display when it is on, which I know isn't good practice. I tried turning it off, reseating, and back on but the display still wouldn't come on. After I got the display on and the lights were on for a couple of minutes the current limiter got hot. I still need to get some contact cleaner

Should the current limiter be hot if the display is not working or is that a sign that the board is not powering up? Thanks again.

I retested waiting for the click. I am using 3000 as my new measured salt level. Average between two store readings, do not have my kit yet. I put salt in yesterday
