Aqualink RS - Wifi Compatibility Help

Can yall help me identify if my RS (2018 pool install) is capable of receiving the aqualink 3.0 antenna as is, or if i need to upgrade the board also? photos attached.

Bought a new house. Learning new pool. Existing Aqualink RS system has a handheld PDA that doesn't work, so I need to buy a new handheld OR just upgrade to WIFI/remote access version, if it isn't cost prohibitive.

thanks in advance! (will update my signature asap, with pool details)

You have a PDA-PS6 system based on the label on the chip on the RS main board. You will need to upgrade the RS main board to support the iAqualink 3.0 transceiver. Jandy offers the IQ30-RS upgrade kit which includes a pool/spa combo PS8 main board and the iAqualink 3.0 wiFi transceiver.

I would contact tcpoolequipment.com on the phone as they have reasonable prices ~1k$ on the upgrade kits and will sell to anyone. If you are handy it is an easy swapout. Jandy may not warrant it because an authorized installer didn't put it in but you will save more than 50% off the price.

I'm not affiliated with them, but I did buy my Jandy system from them.
