Aqualink - Getting a JVA on a schedule

Hi there,

I have just installed a JVA. This valve sends supply water to the waterfall or the jets in the pool. Objective is to turn off the waterfall from say 8pm to 8am. I am able to control the JVA on my app under 'Equipment' as one of the toggle switches but the option isn't coming up under 'Schedule' so currently I can only toggle it.

Note: I have a hotspot AC heat exchanger and have wired up my AC system to turn on the pool pump when the AC is turned on. This creates the scenario where my waterfall may 'randomly' turn on at 10pm which isn't ideal IMO as no one is there to enjoy it.

Did you Assign JVA to an AUX? If so schedule the AUX.

Hi Allen! Thanks for getting involved. Wow you apparently are beating me in the AUX competition as I only have 4.


See some screenshots below of my status. I can get the 'Waterfall Va" (waterfall valve) to show up on the one screen after assigning that JVA and then labelling the AUX. However, when I go to schedule items, I don't see a way to select the waterfall valve.

Did you try hitting the page down button on your devices page?

I assume you renamed one of your available Aux’s and then assigned it to the JVA controlling your waterfall valve.

All the Aux’s or their renamed names should show up in the devices list that are available to schedule. I suspect the Aux’s and your Waterfall valve name are just on the second page of devices.

Try hitting the page down button at the bottom of the devices page and see if your waterfall valve function is hiding there.
