AQ-TROL-RJ :: Updating cell type on panel to T-15

Quick update to the install of my new T-15 Cell. I just completed updating my TROL-RJ board jumping the J4 pads to allow for the use of a new T-15 cell which better fits my 20,000 gal pool. While I had my box open, I replaced the thermistor. If interested, the software is the old r1.45. To my question. The new T-15 cell has a warning tag on the plug that says "select the T-Cell model in menu before plugging in the cell. Failure to do so could result in improper operation." I took this to mean to change the t-cell type on the panel. This is where it get's interesting. I push the diagnostic button 8 times expecting to see a t-cell selection screen, but the screen is not there.

Suggestions on how I should proceed? Not wanting to risk bricking my new t-cell. They're not cheap.
I shot a quick video but unsure if this site allows for that. I'll follow shortly with the video if possible.

Given I've had a few minutes to research this, given that the TROL-RJ is originally rated ONLY for the T-5 cell, would it not be reasonable to conclude the there would be no menu option on the control panel for adjusting the T-Cell type. With the modification to the board by adding the jumper between the J4 pads, I'm assuming the board will now ONLY service a T-15 cell. Yes? No?

The T-cell selection is not available in the Aquatrol models. All you have to do is to install the jumper across the J4 solder pads and you're good to go.
Please post the diagnostic readings if in doubt. Thanks

The Aquatrol RJ has an adapter that need to be placed on the T-5 or T-15 cell used.

Mounting not the issue here. Quick history on this project, the previous owner of home/pool, horizontally mounted/plumbed the T-Cell (T-5) in just after the pool filter. This update project not only required the updating of the circuit board but also the replumbing of the T-Cell (T-15) to the vertical mount (as shown).

Thanks to everyone who took the time to review my question, especially C0d3Sp4c3 who delivered the goods to my question. We just had torrential rains which overfilled the pool. I'll rebalance the pool chemicals, then plug in the new T-15 cell and follow with the readings from the panel.

This is true for as long as the 120VAC is present, regardless of the in-house timer settings.
The cell should only receive power when the pump is activated.

The RJ model just does not have a flow switch as a safety, which is why the gasses have to be able to escape if the cell does run without flow.
There should be no amount of water present inside the cell if the pump is not running. Hence, the Vertical installation.
The cell will always have water in it.

Maybe @johnnydot can weigh in on this since he has done this conversion.
I did the conversion to solve a problem that I had with the salt pool store platinium edition which was supposed to be t T-5 replacement although I suspect that is was a T-15 cell because it works perfectly with the J-4 jumper on the aquatrol.

Quick follow-up. My salt reading leveled off from 3600 down to 3200 and has held there for 30+ minutes. That puts me in the sweet spot for my salt level. Will now monitor the FC for the next 48 hours to see if it holds steady or trends up or down. Not the right forum for that, so I may start a new thread to track/document the chems.
