Mine seems to look similar so far! Brand new pool, never even swam inhopefully it’s no big deal, just such a big investment and to know this is what we get is so discouraging

Some roughness is better than smooth. People have had surface sandblasted to remove old plaster, which produces a very smooth texture, only to have the plaster sub come back and intentionally rough it all up. You need a bit of roughness for the plaster to have good mechanical hold. The plaster applicator will then smooth the top layer out and you’ll barely notice it.
Relax and drink a cream soda … it’ll be fine.
Just kind of feels like buying a brand new car, only for the dealership to crash it then repair before ever getting to drive it.. best analogy I can think of. Knowing what’s “under the hood” so to speak, makes me question the longevity and integrity of the structure. I tried to upload more pics but it kept saying they were too largeMine seems to look similar so far! Only the contractors have been out, not the owner or sales contact in over a month.. I would feel much better if they were keeping an eye on it to make sure it’s being done correctly. However, all of your assurance that this is fine is helping me stay sane! Thank you.Feel good about it that they have to watch it also. And to them, it's thousands of dollars of foul up. A 'didn't read a label' foul up.
TFP kept me from needing bail most days during my build. It is my honor to help pay it forward a little. However, all of your assurance that this is fine is helping me stay sane! Thank you.
