The pool temp on my app is showing about 110 degrees, which I know is grossly wrong.

Is there a probe somewhere that should be cleaned or replaced? I am not sure where this temp is being read from.

Thank you.

I do not see an automation system listed in your signature. What app are we discussing?

You have a water temperature sensor in your pipe somewhere after the pump. Usually replacing the water temperature sensor fixes the problem.

Post pictures of your equipment pad.

I use the Pentair Screen Logic App.

This is the only thing I see inline that may be it.

Yup, that is it.

Follow the wire back into your EasyTouch panel and replace the sensor.

You can confirm its bad by testing the resistance with your multimeter.

Please add EasyTouch to your signature.

Thank you... I need to update my entire signature as we moved. I will take care of that.

Is it best to go OEM, or is there a better replacement? I know when I replaced the salt cell flow switch, it was recommended to use a 3rd party.

Thanks again!

Depends if you have the patience to play pot luck with cheap parts.

Wholesale Sensors or Optimum Pool Technologies both have those sensors for considerably less than OEM. Have use both and never had a call-back for one going bad. Other brands? Also, since all automation systems now use the same sensor, it doesn't have to be for your brand.
