Anyone Rebuilt a Hayward SWG T-Cell?

I have access to a physically damaged T-cell-15 where the housing needs replacing but the cell it self has very little use. I also have an old cell with good housing. Anyone know how these cells are rebuilt? I know people are doing it because there are vendors selling rebuilt cells.

They have to be cut apart to expose the cell plates and wiring. The connections are also potted with epoxy to make them waterproof. The cells really aren’t designed to be “rebuilt”, they are consumables. Yes, it seems like a waste but, as with many things in the pool equipment world, rebuilding things leads to a structurally inferior end-product that is potentially hazardous to people and professionals. Risk/liability is mitigated by simply replacing worn out items.
