I see a lot of bleach/liquid chlorine users recommending adding stabilizer when CYA gets too low. Is there any downside to switching to pucks for a month or so until the CYA gets back up?
Test Kits Compared A good test kit and using Pool Math puts you in control. If your pool is small your CYA will rise faster and in a big pool perhaps not fast enough. Tabs are not evil, but be sure to estimate the effect on your pool water balance, including pH and confirm with testing.
