My current water:
FC: 12
CC: 0.5
CYA: 55
TA: 80
pH: 7.5
Salt: 3200
Crystal clear (thanks to all of you)
I'm tweaking my CYA presently 10ppm at a time so I don't overshoot (targeting 75), and I'm trying to bring my FC down to the recommended levels for SWCG by adjusting my cell % and run time (currently 50% @ 8 hours per day).
But my relatively high FC level got me wondering: what are the harm(s) of maintaining a level of FC at a level higher than that which is recommended for the current CYA level? I've read that it's safe to swim up to shock level for my CYA, but is that the only thing to be concerned with?
Thanks!
