Any advice on my pump speeds and times?

I have a variable pump system and have been running the same schedule since the pool builder installed it, at his advice:

From 9am-5pm @ 2200 RPMs
From 1am - 5am @ 2850 RPMs (this was added because I get free nights with my electric provider)

The pool is only 8k gallons. Not sure if those RPMs are too high or not. I was considering going ahead and just running the pump the entire time during my free nights (8pm-5am). Any harm in doing so? If I do that, any suggestions on what RPM I should use? TIA

What model Jandy VSP do you have?

Your heater minimum flow requirements prevents you from running the pump at too low a speed.
