Gah, I've only just noticed the welcome email requesting an into post. So here is the intro post. Not much to say really. I have a pool...? I've recently learned that pool shops have a similar business model to heroin dealers, and have recently broken my addiction to the unnecesary and unhealthy chemicals they were pushing I like long walks on the beach, etc

I mean its genuine, but I feel like a disdain / dislike of pool shops is enough to get you over the line Probably don't even need a pool!

I've learned this trying to convince my wife that it was the pool shop that lead to our pool becoming a turgid mess, rather than me. Sadly she is convinced I am a fool, and will never believe otherwise. At least I have this forum

I had a similar skeptical attitude way back when I first started. @kimkats and other experts still on here were with me every step of the way. After a month or so we had the best pool on the block at a fraction of the cost. Now she won't have it any other way. In fact, when neighbors have problems she says "do you want me to have Chris help you learn about TFP?".

Hang in there things change when you have a gorgeous pool at a fraction of the cost!
