How much ammonia is too much ammonia? .25 ppm is what I’m getting. Having trouble keeping FC up. I added 100oz of 12.5% to my 12,000 gallon pool and CYA is 55, pH is a little high at 7.9. FC is .26, TC is .52
Thanks! Tired of wasting money on our pool… excited to get a better handle on things.Welcome to the forum!
How are you testing your pool water chemistry? Please post a complete set of results from your own test kit.
Not likely the pool has ammonia in it as there is CYA (unless you just added a bunch) and the pH is high.
I suggest you read through Pool Care Basics - Trouble Free Pool and even look at a few of our videos TFP-TV - Trouble Free Pool
