AmerLight, AquaLight options

I just finished a panel update to an OmniPL on my ancient pool.

I have installed two original AmerLight incandescent fixtures in the pool and one AquaLight halogen fixture in the spa. They both work and I do not run lights very often tbh.

Reading some of the old troubles folks have had trying to pull out their long cables from old conduit, I don't think I want to go down that path - at least not until I have to resurface and fully drain the pool a couple years down the road.

Are there any relatively straightforward retrofits to some LED option? Any of these options to reuse and re-purpose the existing fixture, possibly changing to low voltage to take advantage of anything in the OmniPL?

I have not been paying close attention to the pool lighting options that have happened over the last years. Any help appreciated.

What benefit do you think you will get changing the lights to LED?

Pool LED lights have poor reliability. Staying with your existing lights is your best choice.

Thanks for the advice. I was interested in seeing whats out there and the current wisdom. I’ve gone through a few halogen bulbs in the spa and possibly one bulb in the pool in 20 years but they are working.

The attraction of potentially more control in the omni, lower power (though they are rarely on as it is today) and colors had me curious. Both for today and as a remodel option when the pool is eventually resurfaced.
