I recently upgraded my system to Pentair's Easy Touch controller with Screenlogic interface that allows you to control pool from any device. In the process of upgrading, I considered the option of buying the indoor control panel. But, not only was it pricey, I thought it looked a bit dated and ugly. Since the screenlogic interface on my phone looks pretty good, I though, hey, an Ipad Mini is not that much more expensive, and with a little googling found a guy that prints wall mounts for ipads, and voila, this is what I ended up with (see attached)! Not to mention it's a standard iPad, and the wall mount is super easy to slip the pad out and use it for something else if desired, and then pop it back in the mount. Put it in kiosk mode (guided access for Apple) and nobody can change the screen to any other app so it's always on and ready.
So if you're looking to upgrade your system, before buying the controller, this might be an option for you.
(note - i will say that during this process I initially wanted to buy a cheaper android tablet, but found the interface of screenlogic in the Android device didn't look as nice as the one for Apple. Thus, I spent a little more on the iPad, but couldn't be happier with the finished results!)
