Ok, so here are my results from the TF 100 kit... These #'s are way off from what Ive been use to.
CI 5
PH 8.2
FC 5 10 drops
CH 500 20 drops
ALK 100 10 drops
CYA 40 did retest and got almost 35, but according to instructions its 30...
Where do I begin???

Get the pool math app! Input your results. Click on each result and it will help you determine each dose amount according to your pool type, amount of water and type of sanitation (SWG or chlorine).
For now, raise your CYA to a minimum of 70 because you are in Texas.
Maintain your FC no lower than 5 for your new cya level. See attached CYA/CL ratio chart for SW pools.
Bring your PH down to 7.4.
By lowering that on a regular basis, as you will have to with a sw pool, it will bring your TA down.
Update your signature with the type of pool you have plaster/vinyl, etc so we can help with CH for your pool type.
For now, raise your CYA to a minimum of 70 because you are in Texas.

looks like my alkalinity never came down from my other test kit...
I just dumped 50 oz of acid in pool. that should bring my PH down along with the alkalinity

Ok. Data? You had shown a pH of 8.2. Target pH of 7.4. When pH reaches 8, do it again. When TA gets to 70 or lower, only lower pH to 7.6.
Fastest way to bring alkalinity down to 70?

Do you have a way to create aeration? I see bubblers. Those will work.
So tomorrow, test pH and TA in the morning. Put data in Poolmath. Target pH of 7.2. Add acid to get there. Run the bubblers at as high a speed as you can. Test the pH after a couple hours. If 7.4 or higher, lower it again to 7.2. Test TA at least after every two acid additions. Use Poolmath.
It might take a day or two to lower the TA.

Just retested the water.
PH 7.5 (added 50 oz of acid last night)
FC 6
CH 700 (was 500 lastnight?? )
ALK 100 (didn't come down with the acid, stayed the same)
CYA 40 (just added 2.2lbs. Should bring me to 60)
House water CH is 225

I suspect there was a small variance or learning curve with your CH test. Maybe on the first test you didn't quite make it fully to the light baby blue. But you might try it again later to confirm.
Since the TA didn't come down, you may not be using enough acid in one punch. If you are still running the bubblers, you might let the pH get all the way up to 7.8 THEN knock the pH down to 7.0. The pool can handle it. Use the PoolMath APP to confirm the acid dosage. Continue the aerate>acid routine like that until you see the TA begin to fall -ideally to about 60-70.
Once you are complete with the TA process, the pH should begin to settle. But with what appears to be a healthy CH, it is imperative you control the pH from that point forward to prevent any future scale issues. The PoolMath APP will help you to keep the CSI slightly negative which should help.

Sometimes the TA just gets stuck and doesn't respond as much as we would like when adjusting a pH from 7-6 to 7.2. Just not enough of a swing to impact the TA. But for those times, a wider swing of 7.8 to 7.0 seems to do the trick.. Try it a couple times and let us know.
After aerating all day yesterday, PH now at 8.0. Just dropped in 75oz of acid. Pool math says this will bring me down to PH 7.0. Hopefully this will bring the ALK down.
