Alkalinity super high, please help!!

Oh my question: I thought aeration was the only real way to drop TA. My basic thinking following this site for years was borax and acid control
PH, baking soda raises PH and TA. Aeration drops TA.

See the post above yours. Acid drops TA and pH, then you use aeration to raise pH, and start the process again.

Learn something every day. I thought aeration was the only way to lower Alkalinity. Never knew acid could.

Acid is the only way to lower TA (besides water replacement). Aeration does not decrease TA.

Aeration is used to increase pH back to the desired pH level.
