I have a 16,000 gallon fiberglass pool. Trying to get rid of algae. I use 3” tablets in an inline chlorinator. CYA is 60, which is what pool company says is the recommended level. My FC is .8 and CC is .2. I am new to the pool math app and not sure how to really use it. I want to slam it using calcium hypochlorite 73% . I came up with 24. Is this correct? Very frustrated. (I don’t use liquid chlorine, like the sidebar says, but don’t know how to edit that.)

Welcome to TFP.
If you going to use the SLAM Process then it is best to purchase liquid chlorine because it quickly increases FC levels.
With a CYA of 60 the SLAM level for FC is 24ppm. How are you testing? Do you have your own test kit? Can it accurately measure FC at 24?
Also need to test pH before increasing FC and add Muractic acid to lower it to 7.2.
Post a photo of your pool to see current condition.
What type of filter do you have?
We can help you. Print out the SLAM process.
