Pool looks GREAT!!

I noticed in your final pic, that you have a blue "puck" floater in there. Are you not using the bleach/liquid Cl method as your source of sanitizer? Or are you raising your CYA up some more, simply using up your supply of pucks?

Still using the liquid chlorine but I also have a huge bucket of powdered shock to get through. I would probably switch to just liquid after that although I try to minimize how much plastic waste I generate (bottles).
I have always used a puck floater during the week and typically shock it once a week. Until recently, I never even understood that I was helping to maintain CYA with the puck. 6 years in and never had a water problem of any kind.
The algae problem this spring was only because I opened and then immediately had a pump failure. So the water sat.
