I have a Taylor’s test kit - this is my numbers as of this morning : (see picture) It was GREEN about 2 weeks ago - we used Blue to green and let it settle. Vacuumed to waste and then adjusted to get my PH right and all that. The trouble I’m still having is I can’t get it past this turquoise color - no idea what I’m supposed to do next. When it was green, it wasn’t holding chlorine at all. Fixed that with a lot of trial and error. Does the turquoise color even matter??

(Green photo is the morning after green to blue was used about 2 weeks ago and I was vacuuming it - the more blue’ish picture is after I vacuumed it all to waste very slowly, but it was testing at .5 chlorine. The turquoise’ish picture is today that will go with the screen shot of the test results)

Deep clean as in we need to change the sand? We was thinking we needed to do that but didn’t want to do it for no reason. We just changed the sand last year but have no problem doing it if needed now.
