Hey everyone - I got back from vacation yesterday and noticed some algae on the bottom of my floor around the perimeter. I was able to brush it all off, ran the filter for 24 hours and added some Chlorine. I checked it today and I do not see any algae starting to form again but I have a feeling I should just SLAM it just to be sure. Does that sound about right??? Here's my readings for a couple minutes ago.....

FC: 4
PH: 7.5
TA: 90
CH: 250
CYA: 35

I do have the pool math app and would just run SLAM based off of that. Thanks as always for the help

I would SLAM it to make sure all algae is dead. I’m not an expert by any means but in other threads on recovering from algae I get the impression that you want to SLAM and hold the SLAM FC level for at least 24hrs or until the water can pass the OCLT.
