Algae/Moss Near Pool

Hey everyone,

Purchased a home with an older pool. Previous owners did not take care of any maintenance with the pool the last 10+ years. I have got the pool/spa running well with a new pump and automation system and it is looking good.

My only problem now is the algae/moss surrounding the different areas of the pool. (I have added some photos for reference) I have power-washed some of it but stopped because its nearly impossible to not get it in the pool and I do not want to contaminate it at all. Have also tried some moss killer and a wire brush but same problem occurs along with that being toxic.

Youll see in the pictures also, the surface type does not help because the organism can grow in between the rock spaces. (Not my first choice and will eventually be resurfaced)

Does anyone have any recommendations of what to do in this situation?

Thank you much

I had similar stuff around mine. A pressure washer basically flushes it into the pool and just needed to SLAM and lots of filtering and vacuuming. A scrub brush would be way more work than letting the pool equipment do its thing.

Spray Wet and forget on those areas. No scrubbing necessary. Apply as directed. It works miracles on all the green around the outside of your house without killing any plants or grass.
