Here are the numbers
FC 23 yes that’s correct checked it twice
CH 400
TA 90
CYA 85

Average salt is 3100
Temperature range is 82°-91°
Water is not crystal clear a little cloudy.

22,000 gallons 16x36 pool

And it’s growing algae, I brush it every morning and there is a coat of light green algae.

I am in the process of slamming it but the algae keeps growing.
Feeling frustrated.

So have you read SLAM Process?

The FC is too low for the CYA if you are in the midst of a SLAM process. A CYA of 90 requires a FC of 35 ppm to be maintained. It would be best to drain and refill about 50% of your water to reduce your CYA to make the SLAM process easier to be successful.

Please read the SLAM Process

Draining is up to you. You can try following the SLAM process with high CYA. It can be done. Just takes alot of diligence.
Order more FAS-DPD reagents now. You will need them.

So to keep the Mrs content I had the pool water tested by a store near me I retested the TA And it was in fact low I must have done it wrong the First time.
what surprises me the most is the salt the checked it with two different instruments

mill add to increase the TA

I am sorry, but we do not provide guidance based on pool store tests.
You are welcome to do anything you like with the results.
