You have a cartridge filter. Clean your cartridges. Note clean pressure. When clean pressure rises 25%, then clean the cartridges again. Say clean pressure is 20, clean when you hit 25.
You may be cleaning cartridges often.
pH test is invalid when FC >10. You only need to test and replace FC during SLAM.

You have a cartridge filter - you don't backwash.
If the filter needs cleaning, you take the filter apart and clean the cartridges.

I did the test again with the sun behind me and it was closer to 80. I did the diluted test and it was about 60.

80 would be correct. CYA is turbidity test and is reliant on the light. Slam target is 32.
It is more difficult to slam with CYA above 60, but can be done, and will take a fair amount of chlorine.
You might be wise to replace 25%+ of your pool water. Read no-drain water exchange here:

I would. Will make the SLAM easier and cost less (less chlorine).

I would clean them, then run your pump up to 3000rpm and note pressure. Then return to normal speed. Check pressure at high speed.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their input. I'm thankful I found this site/group. I wanted to try to give an update on what I've done so far and request feedback from the experts.
I'm cleaning filter and running robot vacuum (Dolphin Premier) continuously.
I'm brushing pool 2-3x per day.
Pool seems less green but still murky today.
I had to order a 7/8" socket so I haven't cleaned filter yet, but didn't want to delay SLAM. I also didn't have a pump for water exchange to reduce CYA and didn't want to delay SLAM for that either.
I added about 3 gallons of 10% chlorine prior to starting to keep track.
9/4 8:05pm - FC 15
9/4 8:09pm - Added 487 oz of 12.5% chlorine
9/4 9:59pm - FC 26
9/4 10:02pm - Added 281 oz of 12.5% chlorine
9/5 5:19am - FC 21
9/5 5:23am - Added 315 oz of 12.5 chlorine
9/5 7:37am - FC 23
9/5 9:17am - Added 322 oz of 10% chlorine (had to run to store to get more)
9/5 11:03am - FC 27
9/5 11:03am - Added 179 oz of 10% chlorine
*Planning to do check/add chlorine again around 3:00 pm
I plan to clean filter tomorrow.
Should I use filter sock on my skimmers?

Keep going. I would not use socks. After slam you can use disposable hairnets…like 100 for $10.
Harbor Freight can provide you with a real man's tool set so you don't have to buy a one-off standard socket that we all have in our tool boxes already.
I have 2 socket sets all the way up to 3/4" and didn't want to buy another just for the 7/8"....Although you can never have too many tools..
