Air Switch jetted tub pump

My 20+ year old jetted tub pump finally gave up the ghost and I'm looking to replace. I ordered a new one based on the specs and it didn't come with an air switch. Since the original air switch is still good (remarkably), is it possible to remove from the old and install on the new? If so, any ideas how to connect the two brown electrical wires? Or does anyone have suggestions for using the non-air switched pump?

Thanks

Jetted bath tub? The air button actuated a mechanical switch that could be 1, 2, 3, 4 positions. What do you have? Did you buy a bare tub, no controls? New tubs usually have electronics that are not compatible with an air button.

This is an existing 30 year old jetted tub. The tub had an air switch to turn the pump on/off. I purchased a new pump but it does not have an air switch on it. Just trying to see if I can retrofit this pump to use the air switch. If this is not possible, can I wire a flush mount electrical push button switch in its place? Suggestions?

Show us pictures of the motor wiring, the air switch, and where the tub and air switch are mounted.

An air switch is used when the NEC does not allow electrical switches to be close to water. Changing to an electrical switch may not be safe.
