Air Switch dead (FF-1094) How to manually cycle?

Hi TFP,

I have an FF-1094 4-function air switch box controlling my pump and blower.

4 programs are:

1 - Pump timer / Blower off (Normal)
2 - Pump ON / Blower ON
3 - Pump timer / Blower ON
4 - Pump ON / Blower off (Normal spa mode for us)

Well the air switch (from the spa to the box) has stopped working and we are stuck in program 4, which means my timer won't turn off the pump. I have to manually cycle the pump with a switch outside. Is there a way to manually cycle this thing around to program 1 until I have a chance to open it up and troubleshoot the air switch????

Thanks!!!

They use a mechanical ratchet relay that clicks into a specific spot each pulse they get. You would need to either try pushing air in directly at the switch or put a jumper across the air switch momentarily to get the relays to ratchet to the next step {assuming it isnt a bad relay}

Thanks for the quick reply! I was able to rig up some 1/4" irrigation tube into the switch and blow into it.... click! I was able to cycle it back to mode 1.

I assume the problem is the old plastic air button, my wife did mention pressing on it, uh.... "a little hard" after the first time it wouldn't work. :(

Is this a common failure mode? Maybe some marine RTV or JB Weld around the switch?
