So I have a hydrotools above ground pump and my pool is semi - inground and for some reason I get a ton of air bubbles when I just have the pump running, but when I open the roof valve so the water can travel up to the roof solar panels then there is absolutely no air in the return in the pool. Any ideas?
Air in return with roof solar OFF but not when ON?

How high is the vacuum release valve above the pump?
What is the filter pressure with solar on vs off?
