We have air bubbles in the sight glass and can't seem to get it out. We have tried priming it, cleaned the filters, and have released air from the valve on top of the cartridge filter container. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you run a VS pump on lower speeds, sometimes air bubbles can accumulate in the pump basket (I assume that is the sight glass you refer to). Run the VS pump at higher speed for several minutes to see if that clears it, then go back to your lower speed.
Alternatively you may have a small air leak in either the pump cover or the drain plugs for the pump.
Have you removed the pump cover and lightly lubed the oring? Do you know where your pump drain plugs are?
