hello everyone! i have a inground pool with 3 returns , varaible speed pump and a swg. at times, not often i will get bubbles out of my furthest jet. i had all connections checked , the o rings are fine and eveything is tight. water is great and system works fine. just trying to identify why bubbles ( sometimes) come from the furthest jet.
note: i see that people post that swg's can cause this but i then question why the furthest jet from the swg.
thanks.

Hard to say without trying a few things, but I get this effect as well, after a period of time on lower pump speed. I believe it's just an accumulation in the length of pipe going to that return, eventually becoming high enough volume to get moved. In my case, I can clear it with about 15 seconds of pump on high speed, and it happens pretty much right away. I believe it's just hydrogen gas from the SWCG, in my case,

possibly a high point in some of the pipes where air can accumulate, particularly on suction side left over from empty system. Slowly the air will be flushed along with the water and will exit via the pipe that has the least depth. Full speed pumping should blow it all out.

That’s probably just your salt water generator making chlorine and hydrogen. Turn it on high or super chlorinate and see if it’s making bubbles when you do. When the pump is running at lower speeds you can always see the SWG doing its thing.
