What is the shape of your pool? I had this preordered, but cancelled it after reading the only review I could find. That review stated the manufacturer recommended the robot for rectangle flat pools. I figured it was better to wait and see on this one.

EDIT: Looks like your pool shape fits the manufacturer recommendations after looking at your pictures :)

Ok first impressions are not great. I have the latham Corinthian and not not working great it won’t climb the stairs or the walls. There’s a kind of ledge on the walls but there are a few flat sections I thought it would go up but it does not. I will give it until its battery dies and decide but right now im 90% sure it’s getting returned.

I would guess you are correct. It would likely do well in a flat pool with flat sides and no steps.

I cancelled mine too after buying a handheld Aiper robot....had a hard time reaching customer service and even harder time understanding them (think they are in HK or China). Plus like jaguar said - I read the only review and decided better to wait and see other reviews before ordering it

Mine is supposed to arrive today . I bought the elite pro and was pretty happy but returned it to give this one a try. That one too said flat pools but worked fine in mine, we’ll see.
I did the same. Not scheduled until the 20th or so. My pool is kidney with big radii. I don't see how they can recommend a "flat" pool, and "can climb walls" in the same breath. Will see.

My two gripes with the first one was it was a pain to get to the filter and the foam real wheel was not going to last with my pebble flooring . After a month of use that foam was showing wear but it did perform pretty well. I’m hopeful.

I’m 50/50 on returning it now. I’m assuming my pool style is the biggest issue here but the majority of the dirt in my pool ends up in the deep flat end. If it can save me pulling the hose out and only vacuuming once a month I might keep it. I’m gonna take sone before and after pictures and post later. It does pick up very fine material and the basket is very easy to remove. I was surprised there’s no type of app control. If it had that feature and I was able to manually drive it around to pick up random trash then I would have kept it 100% but I’m guessing that’s a limitation of cordless robots is no signal in the water with Bluetooth.

If it doesn't get everything on the floor, I'll be sending mine back (after I get it). My Aquabot may miss one leaf or one acorn, but I consider the pool spotless. I've never used a vacuum in 12 years. If the Pro is a reliable cordless robot, the Aquabot will be my backup. I'd much rather use my net to get that last leaf than a vac.

My issue is more sand trash as we live in a small island across the street from the beach so the kids are normally covered in sand. I was worried it would pick the bulk of it up but it’s not doing too badly. It’s saying files are too large so I can post the pictures but I think I may keep it now. Def far from perfect.

Does it climb walls and brush the waterline? and does it have a mapping feature?
