So apparently according Aiper, they claim to have updated the software to deal with the issue of the machine not getting over the transition hump to the shallow end while doing S turns horizontally.

They provided some instructions on how to update the firmware which I will give it a try. While I'm hopeful they actually rolled out a solution to deal with this, I'm not getting my hopes up.
