AGP Intex 16x32 Conversion to Hard PVC Plumbing

We are new to the AGP world and still learning, we've had our Intex 16X32 up for a couple of summers. We would like to convert our hose plumbing to pvc hard plumbing. Has anyone ever completed this conversion on a similar size pool that can give us advice or help to get this done? Possibly a supply list or pictures, diagram, or video? links? Thanks in advance,

"6", to answer your question - absolutely! LOTs of people here have done just that. Hopefully the links I put below still work. Others should chime-in as well. There may be a trick or two about mating-up Intex fittings to standard PVC because of adapter sizes, but it's been done many times.

Hey there Mr. 6, the issue I had was finding pvc fittings to actually fit the Intex hardware. Replace the Intex stuff with these Hayward throughwall parts and it will be a lot more painless. Check out this older thread that details a conversion. Right up your alley. I would add though go to a pool store and get a different ball valve. The ones shown here in my experience are a pain and fail. Good luck!

Soberanes6...check out the thread by cowboycasey from about three years ago, I think. They did a bang-up job on the install and hard plumbing, and deck for their 16 x 32 Intex Ultra Frame. Pictures, parts, Problem solving. It’s a good read..

I decided to go with flex pvc instead. I made my own adapters with some easy peasy instructions I found in this forum.
