Liquid Chlorine
I have just put a Waterways above ground in line chlorinator into the hard plumbing on my pool. I am getting no chlorine going into my pool. I have open the canister and taking a chlorine test and it is off the charts inside the canister. Appears that, something is stopped up? I am getting good flow out of my return, but no chlorine in the pool. It is brand new. Is that possible that the check valve or the elbow is stopped up? I have the dial turned to max output.

Can you post pics of your plumbing? Tablets are relatively slow to react. How are you testing FC? Have you tried running the pump at both low and high speeds? As you sort out the chlorinator, do not allow FC levels to drop below the minimum...FC/CYA Levels

...use liquid chlorine bleach to bump FC until you get the chlorinator sorted.
Yes, I got pool chlorine today and administered in pool this evening. Took pucks out of chlorinator and put in floater. Will test the chlorine in the morning to make sure I don’t have chlorine lock. My FC is zero and my CYA is 60. If I have a good chlorine rating tomorrow, I’m assuming that means my chlorinator is not working or stopped up.

This is my plumbing; I have a ball valve on the right hand side of the pipe going up to the pool return; i’m getting good flow out of the return

I have my pump on a timer which I run 2 cycles of 6 hours each (12 total) on low speed. I did run the chlorinator on high for a bit and tried to catch water coming out of the return in a 5 gallon bucket. Tested the water and it still tested Zero chlorine.

if your cya is already 60 it’s time to discontinue the pucks & put your pool on the liquid chlorine diet. The pucks are continuously adding cya. As your cya level rises so does your necessary fc level
To keep the pool sanitary

Here’s approximately what each dissolved Trichlor puck does to your water.

There’s no such thing as “chlorine lock” however there is such a thing as organics growing & consuming your fc due to insufficient fc in relation to your cya.
Even in a floater the pucks won’t raise fc levels very quickly. You need to add enough liquid chlorine now to reach target 🎯 range fc levels
use
PoolMath to calculate amounts.

After you get your fc in target range with liquid chlorine you should do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test to rule out organics consuming your fc.

Ok; got liquid chlorine in my pool and my FC equals seven and cc equals seven yesterday and today. I have drained and filled water up so that my CYA is 50 now. Chlorine levels easily adjusted 😥. So now the issue is what is going on with my chlorinator????? Obviously it is not working. My next intention is to drain their filter and pull apart the plumbing to try to determine if there is a blockage. Any tips on that?

If you're going to use that feeder, realize that tri-chlor tablets were designed to be slow dissolving and the low speed of your pump may push so little water through the chlorinator it just doesn't dissolve them fast enough to do any good.
If you are going to use tablets, the best thing would be to get a good floating feeder and keep it in the pool.

What is after the feeder? Maybe take a pic from further out.
Also, I hope you meant tc & don’t have 7ppm cc’s.
Fc+cc= TC
