Advice on re digging out filled in pool

WHAT???? I was just thinking about this pool yesterday...........hoping it was ready to enjoy! I can't wait to see the pics and hear the stories about what was done! Did you end up with the guy doing the bracing? I am guessing not from the above words but.........

Look at the happy face! You did it! You really did it!!!

We did it. I have all the pictures to post along the way. Total cost for pool around 5-6k I believe. Everything was done by me and my wife and daughter except the liner. I’ll post more pics when I get to my home in the city tonight

Yes, please post some pictures. Outside the liner, what exactly did you and the wife do? Pictures are great.

I passed out on the couch last night so I couldn’t post pictures.
From memory we dug it out,
fixed some of the holes I made with the backhoe with aluminum flashing,
pressure washed it,
installed new Hayward sand filter and heyward super pump,
some new piping,
Ran electric for the pump,
Installed a chlorinator,
Moved 4 cubic yards of sand for the liner by hand,
Installed removable fence,
Installed ladder,
Installed timer for the pump,
Repaired the return that was jammed with a pipe.

This is just the top of my head, I’ll post the pics soon.

They are becoming more popular now as they can actually dig more precise. Especially for hydro polls, around buried lines etc. Sometime u see them using some water as well to brake things up
