Advice on getting my pool level

Just purchased a 12' x 33" Summer Wave framed pool. We are putting it on a paver stone patio (16'x16') boarded by a wooden frame that is slightly unlevel. We put interlocking foam pads down to protect the bottom of the pool. After placing the pool and running a little water in, it looks like it is about 2.5- 3" unlevel with the low side being toward our house. We purchased a pool leveling kit that raises the legs of the frame but a little unsure if this will hold. Is it more important that the bottom be level or the top frame? Any suggestions on how to remedy this situation short of pulling up the paver stone patio and starting over? Also, is it a problem for some of the legs to be directly on the foam padding?

Hi, welcome to TFP! The correct way to install the pool is to dig down to undisturbed, hard packed ground to level the ground. There should be a concrete block recessed flush with the leveled ground under each pool leg. The legs should not rest directly on the foam, as that may not allow the legs to shift evenly as the pool fills. The pool floor should be completely supported by the ground when the pool is full. You do not want any part of the pool suspended by the frame. If your leveling kit raises the legs to the point that the pool is partially suspended over the ground you cannot use them. I would only use a leveling kit to make adjustments of less than 1" to level the pool.
