Advice for pool light switch

The light switch for my Intellibrite 5G LED Color Pool Light is currently inside the electric sub panel enclosure out by my pool pump. It is approximately 50' from the house in the back corner of the yard.
I am looking to control the light remotely(smart switch) or relocate the switch to the inside of my house. I have an open conduit that runs from the sub panel to my house. If I relocate the switch inside, I'm thinking I would need to remove the existing switch and extend the hot black wire to the new switch inside and then run the load side back to the sub panel to tie into the feed for the light. Would I need to run a ground wire from the sub panel to the new switch also, or could I jump off an existing ground wire in a nearby box to ground the switch?

As far as changing the switch to a smart switch, i'm not sure my wifi network will reach the location of the sub panel. Are there any other options? Bluetooth switch?
And if I changed to a smart switch, would i still be able to operate it manually to toggle on and off to change the colors?

Suggestions?

Sounds like a great project. Lets see if this bump will help you get a response.

Take care.

you can also try to take your phone out to the panel and see if your wifi reaches that far or not. i have a smart switch inside my metal shed that is 45ft from the back of my house. the router is located about 15ft from the back wall of the house. it is worth a try, you never know. or you could even try a wifi extender to help get the wifi that far.
