Adjust or Hold? TA running high

Specs:
17k gal, Vinyl, Liquid Chlorine / non-SWG. Based in NJ.

Chems:
FC 1.0
PH 7.1
TA 115
CYA 40

Question: Swung a little wide on TA when opening this year 2 days ago. Ph is low and TA is high. Should I up PH and hold TA as-is? Or drop TA, allow PH to drop with it, and then raise PH back up? I slam'd and chlorine is coming back down. Pool is 98% clear.

If I drop TA, I was thinking to do it with Muriatic Acid and then raise PH with Soda Ash. Was thinking to do all of that first, then increase chlorine to normal level going forward.

Add chlorine. Get and maintain your FC based on the FC/CYA Levels
Your pH and TA are fine. No intervention needed. pH will rise naturally.

I honestly hadn't considered testing for SLAM completion given I was sort of spooked by the TA. But good to know the other chemicals are in-line. So then it sounds like once I pass SLAM criteria I should be good to go?
