I have the Pentair easy touch system, and I'm having issues trying to add yard lights to the system. I added an extra relay to my system and hooked it up to Aux 4, but i can't get the system to turn on even using the panel. Ive tried using a set up that i seen someone post here previously but that seems not to work also, i do have the system with the 8 buttons so i do have the extra spots. Can anyone lend a hand to me to get this up and running? My pool installer didn't show how to use any features or anything with the system at all....

If your EasyTouch came with 4 relays, then you have an EasyTouch 4.. This means that even though you have 8 buttons you do not have use over them. An ET-4 only has a Pump/Filter relay and Aux1, 2 and 3..
If you do not have a Solar system, you can use that port as an extra Aux port.. Called Aux-ex or Aux-10..
Do you have ScreenLogic? If so, it is very easy to set up. If not, I'll have to review how to do it as, I have ScreenLogic and almost never use the main panel anymore.

Yes I do have screen logic, but as stated my pool people didn't show how to do anything, i use the app on my phone, but can only get on it local, still cannot figure out how to log into it remotely . As for solar system i have no idea about that..

2. Scroll down to Aux Extra an rename it to whatever you want.. Like Landscape Lights
Plug your new relay into the "Solar" connector on the main board.
When you turn on "Landscape" the new relay will close..
