My grandson is visiting this summer along with 2 other children under 6. I want to get some ideas on adding a sort of shallow end removable platform for the kids to stand up on or adults to sit down in my AGP. Without spending too much! I know I’ve seen threads in the past but I tried searching and couldn’t find.

Is there any way to make a shallow end in an above-ground?
We have a 24' above ground. 54" deep. Our daughters are 3 & 5 and are mildy vertically-challenged. So while inthe pool, they live on floats, rings, noodles etc since they can't touch bottom. We went camping about 3 weeks ago and our daughter got to wade around in the lake and loved...

I've read where folks use PVC to build a short "scaffold" type table top. Must have some sort of rubber mat on the bottom to protect the liner.
Keep an eye on the mat on the floor of the pool, perhaps moving it often to expose the underneath to fresh chlorine so it doesn't become a hiding place for algae.
