Is it safe to fold back the solar cover and add your weekly maintenance dose of liquid chlorine in front of the jets? Will this damage the solar cover in any way?

Can you please clarify ? The sun burns off FC daily, and you have no shortage of sunshine. Are you spiking it accordingly ? Or has the one time dose been lasting all week ?

Just getting stared using liquid chlorine out here in Arizona instead of tabs and granular shock. Hoping to cut down on the calcium buildup. I was going to add and then check on a daily basis before adding more.

That’s how I do it and have never had any issue. You’ll burn less chlorine and have less evaporation. Be sure to continue to monitor the levels of chlorine and other things so you don’t get algae accidentally.
