Added salt with SWG on

If I add just 1 bag of salt every few days, should I be turning off the SWG for 24 hr? Didn't occur to me as I'm raising water level & adding salt.

if you are salinity is not in the recommended range of your SWG, you have to make sure the chlorine production is set to 0%. You don't need to turn off the SWG.

If you are just adding one bag of salt it is not a big deal.. It is a big deal when you first add a bunch of bags of salt as it takes a day to fully mix..
