Pool is 25,000. PH was 7.8-7.9. I had used between 3-6 cups from the gallon of muriatic previously so it wasn't a full gallon. Just added 30 mins ago so haven't tested again.
Say you added 80 oz of 31.45% acid. PoolMath shows a pH reduction of 0.77. So not a big deal. Aerate and it will consume some of your TA and the pH will come up quick.

So a start pH of 7.8 and TA of 105 then add 100oz of muriatic acid...
New pH of around 7.0 and new TA of 95
This assumes PoolMath is accurate (which it is not at large swings of pH)
Run a new pH test. Adjust if necessary. You should be able to just aerate to get the pH up if still in 7's and call it done.
