My outdoor beacon on the Pentair system got drenched and doesn't work anymore. I've been reading DIY solution by moving the protocol adapter inside the easytouch panel and connecting it to a wireless bridge. Does the protocol adapter need power and does it need to be wired to the panel or does all communication go through the ethernet cable of the wifi bridge?
