add chems with solar cover on

SWG off because of low pool temp now. Have solar cover + leaf net on pool to minimize leaf mess. OK to leave them on when adding MA & chlorine?

I assume you are running the pump? If so, add the liquid chemicals in the return stream as normal. If possible, brush the area well to disperse them.

Yes, running pump. Would pull back corner of covers to add chems at return. Wanted to make sure I wouldn't have to remove covers to prevent major chem damage.

Do not get the chemical on the covers and you are fine.
