Active 20 or M600

Hi everyone. I am taking the plunge and buying a robot cleaner. I am working with Marina pools and spas. I’m having a hard time deciding between the active, or the active 60/M 600. I really want the best clean but the m600 is double the price.

I appreciate the more power suction, extra motor, caddy and extra year of warranty. Any advice on choosing between the two?

I have a 30k kidney shaped salt water pool in north Texas.

My Active 20 is in its 7th year of operation. Cleans my pool great but it is small. As long as the cord will reach, I believe it will clean your pool just fine.

Be sure to get the combo filter. Marina typically includes that if requested.

Thank you. Definitely will get the combo filter. I’m worried it might be a little too small for my pool? The cord will reach for sure.

IIRC the M600 has a 3 hour cycle to the others 2 hour cycle. It had my attention beacaue I often read about those with smaller pools running multiple cycles at times with the 20/200s. (Mine is 34k).

I was concerned the shorter cycle robot would require multiple cycles for me, or at least require it more often if not every time.

Interesting, I wonder if a shorter run time but running it multiple times could increase wear

Only the proportionate amount that was extra IMO. For example, two 2 hour cycles is 1 hour extra VS the single 3 hour cycle.

Wear and tear is wear and tear.
