Acrylic Sealer Stripper in Pool

Helping out a buddy in Texas and contractors somehow spilled or cleaned up stripper near his pool and as you can see in the link (2 pictures in link) It's foamy when he runs the pump now. Any tips on cleanup? Change/clean the filter until it's gone? Something more drastic like water changes? Thanks! It's a SWG for what it's worth.

Knowing the specific product that was dumped in the pool and ingredients would be helpful.

Some are water based and biodegradable with no ammonia or phosphates and the chlorine will clear it up. There many be an emulsifier in it causing the foaming.

I would raise the FC in the pool to at least half SLAM FC level and monitor the FC consumption.

I would give it a few days of high FC treatment before you try anything more drastic.

Knowing the water chemistry and trscking it might be helpful.
