Hi everyone, this is my first year, I drained it below the jets. Unplugged everything, put algae prevention and shock in and covered it. The problem (I think) is Texas is still in 90s so now it’s got a lot of brownish green algae on the bottom. Do I drain it completely? do I add anything? Or do I wait until next year to tackle? HELP me please.

Kristi, IMO, it's just easier to leave our pools open all year, even in your area. Just ask @Jimrahbe. We take special precautions during those odd weather (freeze) events like in 2017 and 2021, but other than that no need to close it completely.
